Simply Speaking primarily provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic speech and language services for children. In addition, we offer readiness skills screenings for pre-kindergarten age children and learning screenings for school-age children. These screenings give a brief look at several areas to include vision, hearing, cognition, academic and speech-language development. While a screening gives a good idea of general abilities, an in depth evaluation may be necessary to explore all areas thoroughly and to diagnose a disorder. Our staff has a wide variety of expertise and many years of experience in the assessment, treatment, and remediation of children with all types of disabilities.
The Speech Language Pathologists at Simply Speaking develop intervention plans incorporating speech and language goals specific to your child's needs. Parent involvement is critical in the therapy process to ensure that speech and language skills carryover to thier natural environment and daily living activities.
